If you live or work in Hammersmith & Fulham, there's lots of opportunities for you to get involved with the Young People's Borough of Culture. 

We have recently launched Our Place, a funding project giving people aged 13-25 the chance to receive a grant of up to £3000 to make a new creative idea a reality.

We will be launching lots of other opportunities throughout 2026 and beyond for you to get involved in the work they do, including attending expert-led creative workshops, applying for funding and taking part in massive projects bringing our artistic community together.

 

Our Place

Have you got an idea for a creative project in your community? Do you want up to £3,000 to make it happen?

Through Our Place, young people can submit a creative idea for funding to make it a reality! You will present your idea at a Voting Event, where other young people will then vote on which projects will secure that funding. Then, you will then be supported to deliver the creative idea. You could start with an interest you’d like to share, something you’d like to change with the help of your school, or a way of bringing people together.
