Upcycle Your Clothes with Georgie Lynch

Ever wanted to give something in your wardrobe a makeover? Interested in flipping your thrift and charity store finds? Or maybe you are passionate about sustainability and want to learn how to make simple fixes to your clothes to keep them out of landfill for longer.
This event is part of Youth Arts Festival, a week-long series of free events running for 13-25 year olds across Hammersmith and Fulham. You must be aged 13-25 and live or learn in Hammersmith & Fulham to attend.

In this workshop you can learn the basics to transform your old clothes and accessories and give them a new life. You can bring in items that you want to work on, or use practice fabrics and materials to gain confidence for future projects.

Georgie Lynch is a Black British Theatre Award winning designer who has worked with organisations including the Almeida Theatre, Camden People's Theatre, and Omnibus Theatre. They are also an actor and facilitator, as well as the Artistic Director & Co-Founder of Pushback Theatre
