An introduction to eco-theatre by Tenderfoot Theatre. Learn how to create theatre using sustainable methods with positive eco stories at the heart. Create your own piece of eco-theatre using found text and second hand costuming. Open to all experience levels, whether you already know about sustainable theatre or this is your first time!

This event is part of Youth Arts Festival, a week-long series of free events running for 13-25 year olds across Hammersmith and Fulham. You must be aged 13-25 and live or learn in Hammersmith & Fulham to attend.

Tenderfoot Theatre is an eco-theatre company from Lancashire on a mission to create bold theatrical works about climate change. Sustainability is at the heart of all that we do, at every stage of the creative process. Workshop leader Kate Carey is our sustainable costume designer, writer and makeup artist, specialising in using unconventional materials and upcycling to create costumes and props. Her writing ranges from spoken word poetry to playwriting, all centred around positive ecological storytelling for all ages.
