He started performing live at the age of 13 and went on to study at Milan’s Rock Guitar Academy before graduating with First-Class Honours in BMus (Hons) Popular Music Performance from ICMP in London. As a working session guitarist, he has performed with a range of artists and musical projects. His experience includes live performances at venues such as Jazz Cafe, Scala and O2 Academy Islington, as well as touring major European theatres. In this workshop, Vincenzo shares what it is really like to build a career as a session musician.
For this workshop, Vincenzo will be joined by special guest James Trood, a professional drummer and Musical Director who has worked with artists including AlunaGeorge, Dua Lipa, Dermot Kennedy and Jess Glynne. James will share useful insights into working to professional standards, how to prepare for auditions, and what is expected when working at a high professional level in the music industry.
