School Arts Week

From the 13th to the 17th of July 2026, Young People’s Borough of Culture will be running its first School Arts Week.

Every Hammersmith & Fulham state primary and SEND school will be offered a free creative workshop, delivered in their school for their Year 5 classes, by one of the programme’s delivery partners. 

This year’s workshops will include a wide range of creative skills development and cultural engagement opportunities, including:

  • Circus by Turtle Key Arts
  • Inclusive Dance by Amici Dance Theatre Company
  • Acting by LAMDA
  • Contemporary Dance by DanceWest
  • Devising by White City Theatre Project
  • Costume Design by Lyric Hammersmith Theatre
  • Comedy by Care to Culture
  • Pottery by WEST Youth Zone
  • Photography by Sands End Arts & Community Centre
  • Anime & Manga by IDEA Design Hub CIC
  • Storytelling/Creative Writing by The Bush Theatre
